The math and how it's used

Formula used
energy = power × time

Power is normalized into watts and time is normalized into hours before the result is reported in kilowatt-hours.

This assumes average power stays constant across the full interval.

The result assumes one average power level over the whole period. If the load changes with time, the better answer comes from integrating the real profile instead of one fixed value.

What to watch

This is a steady average-power calculation. If the load profile changes over time, the real result needs segment-by-segment integration or logged measurement data.
