This extension enables the testing of a wide range of output powers, extending both the maximum and minimum linear output power from the z8752 Vector Signal Generator (VSG) and the maximum input power to the z8655 Vector Signal Analyzer (VSA). This versatility is enhanced by the transceiver test connection, which allows complete connection of both VSA and VSG to a single T/R antenna port.
One of the premium features of the z8817 is its support for variable channel bandwidths, accommodating up to a maximum of 160 MHz.
