The Spirent XFP-3730A MSA is a 1-port test module deployed to investigate the interconnection of a multi-device network system. The SmartBits XFP-3730A is a 10 GbE SmartMetrics Module featuring layer-2 and layer-3 switches testing. The SmartBits XFP-3730A module supports IPv4 and IPv6 protocols and is capable of performing up to 2048 independent streams at either of the protocols. The SmartBits XFP-3730A module can perform transmission operation at continuous, single burst, and multi-burst modes. On the transmission side, the SmartBits XFP-3730A MSA Module supports 48 to 16,384 bytes frame size without CRC. In the receiving mode, the SmartBits XFP-3730A module can perform analysis on up to 64,000 streams. The SmartBits XFP-3730A SmartMetrics Module features a 64 Mb capture buffer that results in efficient logging as well as exporting of selected events to external equipment.
The Spirent XFP-3730A XFP MSA Test Module can perform Serial LAN and WAN operations with IEEE 802.3ae protocol modes. The signal rate featured by the SmartBits XFP-3730A MSA module is 10.3125 Gbps in LAN and 9.58464 Gbps in WAN operational modes. Moreover, the laser wavelength featured by the SmartBits XFP-3730A MSA Module is 850 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm.
