The NI USRP-2940 is available with 1.0 dB transmitting gain step and 0.5 dB receiving gain step.
The USRP-2940 USRP Software Defined Radio Device is manufactured to work for high-level research applications, such as multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO), long term evolution (LTE) relaying, and heterogeneous networks synchronization. Applications like RF sampling, antenna beamforming, direction finding, and cognitive radio can also be implemented using the NI USRP-2940 device. The USRP-2940 USRP Software Defined Radio Device contains a Kintex-7 410T FPGA. The NI USRP-2940 module utilizes 40 MHz bands of RF frequencies and works with an RF frequency range from 50 MHz to 2.2 GHz.
