This model can be used as a standard COM port; thus, it supports a broad range of serial communication programs. The NI PCIe-8430/8 comes with 8 non-isolated ports. In addition, this model offers 1000.0 kbaud Max Baud rate and it comes equipped with 128 bytes FIFO.
The NI PCIe-8430/8 (RS232) is built in compliance with the standards mentioned by the PCI Express Serial Hardware. This model has physical dimensions of 11.12 × 17.53 cm.
