National Instruments PCI-232I/4 Serial Interface Board

The required power of the Serial Interface Board is +5 VDC. The typical current at +5 VDC is 500 mA. The PCI-232I/4 can bear a maximum current of 750 mA without any damage. This Serial Interface Board also features ESD protection on a data line up to +15 kV. The PCI-232I/4 can transfer data at a maximum speed of 115.2 kb/sec. A FIFO buffer is also provided in the PCI-232I/4 board with a memory size of 64 B.
The supported software for the PCI-232I/4 is NI-Serial. The NI-serial software is supported for Windows 8, 7, Vista, and XP. The NI-serial software comes with a built-in device driver. The NI-serial software also includes diagnostic and configuration utilities.
