The sync port on this device interfaces with 5V TTL compatible systems, ensuring compatibility for digital signal integration. It supports up to 2 generic triggers, allowing event triggering based on specific conditions or inputs. The device accommodates input time base frequencies of 1 MHz, 10 MHz, and 20 MHz with automatic detection, ensuring synchronization with external devices operating at these frequencies.

For output operations, it provides a supported time base frequency of 1 MHz, facilitating generation of synchronized timing signals aligned with system requirements. To prevent signal data loss, users can set a high session resample rate. NI-XNET timestamps frames with an accuracy of 100 ns, ensuring precise representation of each edge's signal values when using a resample rate of 1,000,000 (1 MHz). By passing the I/O name to an XNET Interface property node, users can retrieve hardware information such as the name and serial number of the interface. This I/O name serves as a common reference available from the XNET System property node, which provides access to information for all XNET hardware within the system.
