National Instruments 779794-01 LIN Interface Device 

National Instruments part number 779794-01 is an identifying part number for the USB-8476 a LIN Interface Device with 1 Port and 200 mA current input. The NI 779794-01 is designed to facilitate connectivity among LIN networks, devices, and PCs. It supports master/slave termination, enabling comprehensive testing and logging across LAN networks. Equipped with an ATA6620 LIN transceiver from Atmel, it complies fully with J2602, LIN 1.3, and LIN 2.0 specifications. This LIN Interface Device allows data transmission at rates up to 20 kb/s. It comes with Windows-compatible drivers and supports NI Spy and Bus Monitor software for real-time monitoring of LIN and CAN frames. 

Compatible with software environments like LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and others, it offers easy configuration through Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). The NI 779794-01 features an integrated transceiver and includes a 2 m USB cable, eliminating the need for additional accessories during setup. This LIN Interface Device operates on 200 mA of current at 5 VDC, drawing power directly from the host computer's USB port without needing external supplies or batteries. It features a 9-pin DB9 connector for I/O connections. 

The dimensions of the 779794-01 are 3.1 x 2.5 x 1.0 inches.. It supports operating temperatures from 0 to 55 °C and storage temperatures from -20 to 70 °C, with operating humidity ranging from 10% to 90% and storage humidity from 5% to 95%, both non-condensing.
