National Instruments SCXI-1502 High Performance Thermocouple Module
The NI SCXI-1502 (Part Number: 779514-01) is a member of the SCXI Series by National Instruments. This High Performance Thermocouple Module has 32 channels. The SCXI 1502 module can be used with the following operating systems: Windows 7/Vista x64, Windows 7/Vista x86, Windows XP, Windows 2000, LabVIEW Real-Time Phar Lap, and Linux. For these operating systems, the module will work with NI-DAQmx 8.1. This module is not supported by Windows NT or Max OS X.
The National Instruments SCXI-1502 High Performance Thermocouple Module has 32 pins on the front panel. In column A, there are several descriptions for the pins. NC means no connection and RSVD means reserved. The channels are numbered beginning at CH 0 -, then CH 1 –, etc. for column B. Column C starts at CH 0 +, then CH 1 +, etc. For reference, the pin-out can be found in the user manual.
The NI SCXI 1502 module has the capability to be externally calibrated. However, calibration services can no longer be obtained at NI.
SCXI-1502 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
