National Instruments SCXI-1360 Filler Panel
The SCXI-1360 (Part Number: 776576-60) is a generic Filler Panel designed for SCXI slots found in various SCXI chassis. This Filler Panel offers adequate protection against dust and other unwanted foreign materials. The NI SCXI-1360 can easily be installed and removed with the help of thumbscrews. Thus, you won’t need any additional tools or professional assistance for deploying or removing these panels.
National Instruments recommends covering any unused SCXI slots. The NI SCXI-1360 is a simple device that can help you achieve more from your expensive and business-critical equipment. This panel is designed according to the standard dimensions of the SCXI slots. With the help of these panels, a better cooling airflow could be maintained within the chassis.
The NI SCXI-1360 is a front filler panel, which can be used for covering the slot’s front side. For the rear side, you should go with the NI SCXI-1361. The rear filler panel is developed to cover slots that remain unoccupied by multi-chassis adapters, cable assemblies, the SCXI-1357/SCXI-1358 backplane units, or cable extenders.
