National Instruments SCXI-1337 Terminal Block
The SCXI-1337 (Part Number: 777687-37) is a terminal block designed to configure the NI SCXI-1129 as a 2-wire, dual 8 x 16 matrix. This model offers direct connectivity between signal wires and screw terminals located in the terminal blocks. For instant row expansion, the SCXI-1337 can also be used with the matrix expansion- a solution available without any external wiring. Moreover, this model has connections for external input trigger signals and scanner advanced output signals as well.
The NI SCXI 1337 is a measurement Cat I rated module, which is designed to carry up to 150 V signals. However, it can withstand impulse voltages up to 800 V. This Terminal Block offers 2 AAC, 2 ADC maximum current per channel. This Terminal Block comes with adequate safety arrangements since it has a safety ground lug and a strain relief bar. The SCXI 1337 can easily be plugged onto the front end connector of the NI SCXI-1129.
For addition tightening and to keep the block firm in its position, two thumbscrews are also provided on the back end of terminal block’s rear panel. To use this product, the user needs 1 compatible SCXI chassis and an SCXI-1129 switch module. The combination of these components will bring the user a reliable system, ideal for switching applications where high-channel-count is needed. Moreover, a matrix expansion can also be achieved with the help of additional modules. In this arrangement, analog signals travel through an expansion cable, an HV backplane, and through the NI SCXI-1337 Terminal block.
