National Instruments SCXI-1326 High-Voltage Terminal Block
The NI SCXI-1326 (Part Number: 777687-26) is a High-Voltage Screw Terminal Block with supports to link to the SCXI-1162, SCXI-1162HV, SCXI-1163, and SCXI-1163R modules’ front connector. The National Instruments SCXI-1326 is designed for high-voltage digital input or digital output applications. This Terminal Block is also well-suited for temperature or voltage applications with a large quantity of channels. The NI SCXI-1326 is a shielded Terminal Block, which allows for swift, easy signal connections. The SCXI 1326 has a maximum voltage of 300 V and is a Cat II model.
The NI SCXI 1326 has 48 screw terminals positioned in eight groups, with six terminals in each group. Every group is separate from the others. The six terminals in a group are comprised of the following terminals: a VCC, GND, and four channels. The utilization of the terminals is based on the module. For example, the VCC terminals on the SCXI-1326 are not utilized with the SCXI-1162HV or the SCXI-1163R modules. In addition, the GND terminals are not utilized on the SCXI-1162. The VCC terminals on the SCXI-1162 are power/reference voltage, where as they are for the power supply 5 V ±0.5 V on the SCXI 1163, which is referenced to GND. GND refers to ground reference for the SCXI-1162HV, ground for the SCXI-1163, and common pole for the SCXI-1163R. Lastly, CHAN(x) is the digital input for the SCXI-1162, the input signal for the SCXI 1162HV, the digital output for the SCXI 1163, and the relay inputs for the SCXI 1163R module.
The following components are required to run the SCXI-1326:
· The SCXI-1326 High-Voltage Terminal Block Installation Guide
· A SCXI-1326 high-voltage terminal block
· A SCXI chassis
· A SCXI-1162, SCXI-1163, SCXI-1162HV, or SCXI-1163R module
· A wire insulation stripper
· A wire cutter
· Needle-nose pliers
· 1/10 in. and 1/4 in. flathead screwdrivers
· Number 1 and 2 Phillips-head screwdrivers
The NI device has a recommended operating temperature range of 0 to 50 °C, and a storage temperature range of –20 to 70 °C.
The SCXI-1326 has been declared Obsolete by National Instruments, but the High-Voltage Terminal Block will still be available for purchase and repairs in perpetuity with Apex Waves.
