National Instruments SCXI-1167 Relay Switch Module
The SCXI-1167 (Part Number: 776572-67, 189771A-01) is a reliable Relay Switch Module for SCXI from National Instruments. This module is an ideal choice for relays embedded in a test system. This module comes with 64 built-in channels and helps control as many as 64 single-side stable relays. The NI SCXI-1167 ensures control of 32 2-coil latching relays. The SCXI-1167 also has the capability to drive small DC motors or other inductive relay coils, with a drive capacity up to 50 V. This module can also provide drive capacity up to 600 mA per channel by connecting to an external power supply.
The National Instruments SCXI-1167 Relay Switch Module offers various protection capabilities, which includes overvoltage and overcurrent protection features. This module can protect internal circuitry during high voltage and high current conditions and helps ensure life-long operation. This module has the capability to allow auto channels to reset after the protection condition to avoid partition of the module. The National Instruments SCXI-1167 Relay Switch Module also incorporates a fly-back diode to provide protection against damage in load conditions.
The National Instruments SCXI-1167 Relay Switch Module comes with an auto scanning function. This feature ensures the module will increase throughput in autotest applications. The scanning improves throughput by downloading a list of up to 32,000 connections. These connections link with the switch modules. It also improves throughput by cycling through the list. The N SCXI-1167 uses a trigger without any interruption to enable measurement improvement. There is also NI-SWITCH driver software available on the module, which is IVI-compliant. This software helps offer complete functionality for all switch modules. The NI-SWITCH software also offers easy to use switch management and ensures the programming, configuration, and management of high channel switching systems.
SCXI-1167 Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the module will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
