National Instruments 776572-95 RF Multiplexer Switch Module

The National Instruments 776572-95 (Model Name: SCXI-1195) is a high frequency unterminated multiplexing switch module. This model is specifically designed for routing high frequency signals in automated test equipment (ATE) systems. This module provides an efficient and reliable switching solution for applications requiring minimal signal loss and excellent signal integrity. This makes it suitable for handling typical high frequency signal demands without compromising performance or safety.

The multiplexer switch module features a nominal characteristic impedance of 50 Ω. The module offers an insertion loss of less than 2.8 dB up to 5 GHz. Its Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) is rated under 1.85 for frequencies up to 5 GHz. This guarantees excellent impedance matching and minimal signal reflection. The module also boasts impressive isolation figures providing over 30 dB of isolation at 5 GHz which minimizes interference between channels and enhances signal clarity.

The 776572-95 switch module is engineered for dynamic performance with a maximum scan rate of 45 channels per second. The module's mechanical and electrical relay life spans are 1 million and 300,000 cycles respectively. It also features a trigger system that uses SCXI trigger lines 0–7. This supports flexible timing and synchronization with other system components.

The NI 776572-95 module features electromechanical latching relays and comes with 20 SMA jacks for input/output connections. It has modest power requirements, drawing 50 mA at +5 VDC and up to 120 mA at other voltage levels.
