National Instruments 776572-66 General Purpose Switch Module

National Instruments 776572-66 is an identifying part number for the SCXI-1166, a 32 channel General Purpose Switch Module for SCXI. It has independent single-pole double-throw (SPDT), also called Form C, latching relays with very low on-resistance and low thermal offset. The relay on this module is suitable for switching, routing, and controlling medium-level signals. Each channel comes with a Normally Closed (NC), Normally Open (NO), and Common (COM) terminal. 

This General-Purpose Switch Module is compatible with Windows 2000/NT/XP operating systems. It supports several software packages and application development environments (ADEs) such as NI Switch Executive, Measurement Studio, LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and LabVIEW Real-Time Module software. Additionally, it can interface with Visual Basic and C/C++ programming environments. The module operates with the NI-SWITCH driver software and adheres to CE compliance standards.

The 776572-66 module is compatible with the SCXI-1366 Terminal Block, a connector and back-shell kit (Part Number: 778720-01), or any standard 62-pin D-Sub connector. It features two 62-pin D-SUB male I/O connectors for versatile connectivity options. The SCXI-1366 Terminal Block attaches to the module's front and provides screw terminals for easy access to its 32 relays. It also includes connections for trigger output and input signals. Users can connect signal wires by inserting the stripped portion into the screw terminals. The module operates with a power requirement of 6.3 W at ±18.5 V and 200 mW at 5 V, ensuring efficient performance in various applications.
