National Instruments 776572-26 Frequency Input Module

Part Number 776572-26 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments SCXI-1126 Frequency Input Module. It is typically used in isolating frequency-generating sensors, and other analog and digital periodic signal sources. The module can be operated in either the parallel output mode or the multiplexed output mode. In parallel output mode, all eight channels of the 776572-26 connect in parallel to eight E series DAQ device channels. On the other hand, all eight channels can also be multiplexed into a single DAQ device channel. 

The 776572-26 features 8 isolated input channels, each with ten selectable input frequency ranges from 250 Hz to 128 KHz. Likewise, each channel has four selectable, 4-pole lowpass filters with cutoff frequencies ranging from 1 Hz to 1 KHz. The minimum input pulse width supported by the module is 1.5 µs while the input signal amplitude may range from a minimum of ±50 mV to a maximum of ±250 V max. All the input channels CH<0..7> are protected against overvoltages up to 250 Vrms in the powered-on and powered-off state. Similarly, they also have output short-circuit protection for an indefinite duration.

The 776572-26 measures 6.8 by 8.0 in. in physical dimensions. For the I/O connection, it features a 50-pin male ribbon cable rear signal connector and a 32-pin male DIN C front connector. The recommended warm-up time for the module is 15 minutes while the calibration cycle is typically 1 year. The recommended temperature range for the operation of the  776572-26 is 0 °C to 50 °C at a relative humidity of up to 10% to 90% RH. Likewise, the device is only meant to be used within a maximum altitude of 2000m

On the other hand, it can be stored between -20 to 70 °C. Note that the maximum working voltage between channel-to-channel and channel-to-earth is 250V and both fall under Measurement Category II.
