National Instruments 776572-24 Analog Output Module for SCXI

The part number 776572-24 from National Instruments is the identifying part number for the SCXI-1124 Analog Output Module for SCXI. This output module features 6 output voltage channels with a 12 bit resolution and common mode isolation of 250 Vrms between channels and channel to earth ground. It maximum update rate is  555 S per second for single channel while 125 S per second for all six channels. Its voltage output ranges from 0-1 V, 0-5 V, 0-10 V, ±1 V, ±5 V, and ±10 V that is software selectable. It has an output coupling of DC with low output impedance of  0.1 ohm maximum and a current drive of ±5 mA maximum. This low impedance allows the module to draw more power to the signal thus maintaining the reliability and efficiency of the module.

This 776572-24 Analog Output Module for SCXI offers various current output ranges from 0 to 20 mA with a current sink type provided with internal loop supply. The internal current loop supply is 15 to 21 V while the external is 3 to 42 V with a protective feature of both short circuit and open circuit.

Physically, this module has dimensions of 3.0 cm by 17.3 cm by 24.4 cm(1.2 by 6.8 by 8.0 in) and is equipped with a 50-pin male ribbon-cable rear connector and 48-pin DIN C male front connector. This module is designed to operate at temperature of 0 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius and storage temperature of -20 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius with a relative humidity of 10% to 90% RH, noncondensing. It can be mounted at maximum height of 2000 meters and has pollution degree of 2.

The 776572-24 is compatible with many safety standards that makes this a best choice for use in laboratory and measurement use such as the IEC/EN 61010-1, UL 3111-1, CAN/CSA C22.2, No. 1010.1 standards. This analog output module is supported by Windows 2000/NT/XP operating system with a recommended software LabVIEW, Lab Windows/CVI, Measurement Studio and VI Logger. For driver software, it supports the NI-DAQ 7 software.
