The PXI-6143 Multifunction I/O Module (Part Numbers: 779063-01, 191083E-01, 191083F-01) has 8 AI, 16-bit analog input resolution, a 250 kS/s maximum sample rate per channel, and 8 DIO. This Multifunction I/O Module is a simultaneous sampling multifunction data acquisition gadget, which comes equipped with features such as a 68-pin VHDCI I/O connector, two 24-bit counter/timers, and digital triggering. The NI PXI-6143 is perfect for an assortment of utilizations, such as high-energy physics, ultrasonic and sonar testing, profoundly transient and ballistic signals, and multi-axis control. The NI-DAQmx driver and the included configuration utility simplify setup and estimations.
The PXI-6143 is part of the NI S Series family. The S Series modules have a simultaneous sampling feature, which is the most obvious advantage of the dedicated analog-to-digital converter (ADC) per channel architecture. In addition, the architecture has a couple of subtler, however essential, advantages. Since each channel has a dedicated ADC, there is less worry about settling time and the noise and error caused by switching input channels. The user can tune the analog input path for both precise DC and dynamic estimations. Traditional data acquisition gadgets are perfect for DC estimations yet are not generally the best answer for dynamic estimations.
The NI PXI-6143 Multifunction I/O Module offers a substantially higher examining rate per channel. Conventional information procurement gadgets share the examining rate among the number of dynamic channels. The general information throughput remains the same. With S Series gadgets, the total throughput increments with the quantity of dynamic channels.
