NI PXIe-5643R RF Vector Signal Transceiver

The PXIe-5643R RF signal transceiver works as a modular instrument designed for advanced wireless test applications. It operates within 65 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range with integrated digital signal processing. The transceiver provides 16-bit ADC resolution with 120 MS per second sample rate. The I/Q data rate supports 1.84 kS per second to a maximum of 120 MS per second for flexible signal processing. The instant bandwidth of module further reaches up to 80 MHz. The local oscillator tuning mode operates in fractional configuration with programmable 200 kHz step size.

The PXIe-5643R supports internal reference clock operation with stable calibration performance. The tuning resolution remains below 1 Hz for fine frequency alignment. The RF input reference level is configured at 0 dBm for accurate signal acquisition. The module maintains RF output power level at 0 dBm for consistent transmission testing. The frequency range covers 65 MHz to 1.5 GHz with IIP3 specification of 19 dBm that supports linear performance across wide spectrum operation. The NI PXIe-5643R vector signal transceiver requires 30 minutes warm up before precision measurement. The calibration cycle remains maintained through proper calibration interconnect between CAL IN and CAL OUT front panel connectors. The interconnect cable must stay connected without tampering to preserve calibration integrity.

The signal transceiver supports WLAN 802.11b g DSSS testing with EVM category measurement capability. The system evaluates modulation accuracy under defined bandwidth and frequency settings. Proper chassis class configuration includes high fan speed setting for thermal stability and slot blockers for empty chassis slots.
