National Instruments PXI-1033 PXI Chassis
The NI PXI-1033 (Part Number: 779760-01) is a low-cost 5-slot PXI chassis from National Instruments, which is created for remote control applications. The PXI-1033 is a host PCI Express board for desktops. This model offers services as a host express card for laptops and a cable, as well as enhanced usability in a wide range of applications. The NI PXI-1033 chassis accepts 3U PXI and CompactPCI (PICMG 2.0 R 3.0) modules. This PXI chassis can have a carrying handle added, and/or it can be rack-mounted. The device is AC-powered and has a slot cooling capacity of 25 W.
The National Instruments PXI-1033 chassis has a built-in MXI-Express controller with the capability to offer a transparent, remote link with up to 110 MB per second throughput. The NI PXI-1033 meets the cooling and power requirements of the automotive, automated test, and electronics industries. The PXI 1033 comes with five peripheral slots for I/O modules, a compact design, universal AC input, and quiet operation. These features make the PXI-1033 an ideal option for desktop ATE systems. The PXI-1033's economical cost helps reduce the PXI setup price. The device operates using the MXI-Express kit, which is contained in the PXI platform software and can be found in NI driver software products. It can be configured using the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) tool.
The NI PXI-1033 Chassis also offers an AUTO/HIGH fan-speed selector. The HIGH fan setting helps offer more cooling. The PXI-1033 AUTO fan selector reduces the noise level. This AUTO selector also checks the air intake temperature and adjusts the fan speed. The NI PXI-1033 Chassis comes with a sound pressure level of 37.4 dBA for the AUTO fan setting and a sound pressure level of 51.5 dBA for the HIGH fan setting. This model also comes with a system reference clock of 10 MHZ and a built-in clock accuracy of ±25 ppm. The device has a weight of 11 lbs and has the dimensions 6.97 x 10.12 x 8.8 in.
