National Instruments 785690-01 Converged IoT PXI Chassis
Part Number 785690-01 is the identifying part number for the National Instruments HPE Edgeline EL4000 Converged IoT PXI Chassis. The 785690-01 offers advanced edge computing and high-capacity storage based on open standards. The system holds up to four HPE ProLiant server blades and supports multiple types of server blades HPE ProLiant m510 Server Blade (Intel® Xeon® D – 8 or 16 cores, up to 128GB RAM), HPE ProLiant m710x Server Blade (Intel® Xeon® E3 – 4 cores with GPU, up to 64GB RAM), or HPE ProLiant m750 Server Blade (Intel® Xeon E-2286M – 8 cores with GPU, up to 128GB RAM).
The 785690-01 v1PCIe models support up to four Full-Height Half-Length PCIe I/O cards (x8 electrical). Likewise, the v2 PCIe models support the same cards with higher wattage requirements (i.e. up to 75w). Furthermore, the PXIe model supports up to four PXIe modules, all of which are connected to server blade 1 for precision data capture and control while the remaining three blades are not connected to the PXIe module slot.
The core network on the 785690-01 can be layer 2 witched or pass-through. It features a separate 1G RJ45 network port to access the iLO management network. Likewise, the system supports onboard server cartridge storage of up to 4 x 4 TB total, and external storage can also be connected through PCIe or ISCSI slots. The 785690-01 has a typical power consumption of 400 to 600 W, which can reach up to a maximum of 800 W. The system supports 1 HPE Flex Slot power supply, and AC and DC input options are available. It measures 3.44 x 13.8 x 9.16 in. in physical dimensions and weighs 8.36 kg.
The 785690-01 is recommended for operation between 0 °C to 35 °C at a relative humidity of 8% to 90%. However, depending on the hardware configuration, it can be set up to operate at up to 55 °C. On the other hand, it can be stored between -30 °C and 60 °C at a relative humidity of 5% to 95%. Note that it is meant for use within a maximum altitude of 3050 m.
