National Instruments PXI-5900 PXI Differential Amplifier
The National Instruments PXI-5900 (Part Number: 780166-01) is a differential PXI Amplifier designed to be utilized with PXI Oscilloscope modules, such as the PXI-5922. This model offers two input channels with GND, AC, and DC input coupling and 50 Ω ±2%, software-selectable input impedance. The NI PXI-5900 comes equipped with BNC input connectors and SMB output connectors. This PXI Differential Amplifier can receive analog input at 0.25 ±0.2% vertical gain, 500 μV zero input offset error, 1 dB passband flatness, 70 dB at 60 Hz common-mode rejection ratio and 100 V/μs slew rate (referred to balanced differential input).
The National Instruments PXI-5900 is compatible with the NI-SCOPE 3.5.1 - an IVI-compliant driver that enables the user to control, configure, and calibrate the PXI-5900. In addition, the NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) offers interactive and user-friendly test and configuration tools. This software program comes included on the NI-SCOPE DVD. The NI PXI-5900 Amplifier weighs around 173 grams and is a 3U, one slot PXI module with 21.6 cm × 2.0 cm × 13.0 cm physical dimensions.
While operating in conjunction with the NI PXI-5922, this model offers ±20 V (40 Vpk-pk) differential input voltage range, ±5 V (10 Vpk-pk) single-ended, output voltage, and ±10 V common-mode input voltage range. The input protection settings for 1 MΩ and 50 Ω impedance are ±120 V and 14 Vrms with peaks <20 V respectively. The National Instruments PXI-5900 requires approximately 15 minutes for a complete warm-up.
