National Instruments PXI-4022 PXI Amplifier Module
Featured with a high-speed, high-precision amplifier, the National Instruments PXI-4022 (Part Number: 779614-01) is a 6-Wire, Guard and Current PXI Amplifier Module meant for use with Digital Multimeters. The high-precision, high-speed amplifier helps fine tune signals for acquisition. For resistors connected in parallel on complex PCBs or for cable test applications, the guarding functionality of the PXI-4022 allows the user to make 6-wire based resistance measurements.
This module has low-EMF, low-leakage, gold plated, solid copper input terminals. The National Instruments PXI-4022 is a Measurement Category II rated device, which is designed to carry signal voltages less than or equal to 250V. However, this module can safely withstand up to 2,500 V surge voltage. As far as its input and output characteristics are concerned, the PXI-4022 operates at >1010 Ω input impedance, < 5 pA input bias current, ±12 V max output voltage range, and ±15 mA max output drive current. This PXI Amplifier Module has integrated overvoltage protection for Guard out, Guard In "+", and Guard In "-" terminals.
The front panel of this module has five connectors, with two electrically equivalent connectors are provided on the back side. The five front panel signal connectors include: a Guard/amplifier output, Guard/amplifier positive input, Guard-Sense/amplifier negative input, and two Floating common (LO). The two back mounted connectors represent the module`s floating ground. The user can install the NI PXI-4022 module in an empty slot (compatible) in a PXI chassis. This module can easily be configured with the help of MAX, I.e. Measurement & Automation Explorer.
