National Instruments PCMCIA-CAN/LS CAN Interface Device
The PCMCIA-CAN/LS is a Controller Area Network (CAN) Device developed by National Instruments. The NI PCMCIA-CAN/LS is available for purchase by the part number 778054-01. The PCMCIA-CAN/LS belongs to the family of CAN modules made for interfacing. This low-speed CAN Interface Device is built with a TJA1054A transceiver. The NI PCMCIA-CAN/LS functions with the NI-CAN driver software. The PCMCIA-CAN/LS is manufactured to be used with the Bus Monitor Utility software for multiple applications. This device is compatible with Windows NT/XP/2000/Me/98 operating systems.
The National Instruments PCMCIA-CAN/LS is assembled as a low-speed CAN device for PCs with a PCMCIA bus. The PCMCIA-CAN/LS is built with a single port for the configuration of network devices. This CAN Interface Device is capable of fault-tolerant functions. The NI PCMCIA-CAN/LS renders a maximum transfer rate of 125 kb/s. This device is used for applications like engine handling systems, antilock brake controls, and emission handling tasks. The PCMCIA-CAN/LS device can be used for many control applications with personal and industrial computers.
The NI PCMCIA-CAN/LS has a physical layer which contains an inside cable that is powered with an internal or external source.
