National Instruments PCI-Step-2OX ValueMotion Stepper Motion Controller
The PCI-Step-2OX is a stepper value-motion board controller. The NI PCI-Step-2OX is created by the manufacturer National Instruments. The PCI-Step-2OX board is specially prepared for 2 axes stepper motors. The PCI-Step-2OX is utilized with ValueMotion software by NI. The PCI-Step-2OX can be utilized with multiple application tools like LabWindows, LabBridge, and LabVIEW. The supported operating system of the PCI-Step-2OX is Windows.
The NI PCI-Step-2OX can interface with computers available with the Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) bus port. This Motion Controller is designed for open-loop stepper motors and does not contain any quadrature encoders. In addition, open-loop mode is the only mode this controller can operate in. The PCI-Step-2OX supports additional inputs/outputs limit control functions. The PCI-Step-2OX handles home-based switches for multiple functions. The NI PCI-Step-2OX can also be used for generic functions. The NI PCI-Step-2OX board controls stepper motors with a frequency rate of 750, 000 steps for each second.
This Open-Loop Stepper Motion Controller is utilized with a digital input/output voltage range of 0 to 5 V. The PCI-Step-2OX contains an analog-to-digital converter with a 10-pin male ADC connector. This Stepper Motion Controller is additionally built with a 50-pin male main input/output connector. The NI PCI-Step-2OX controller has an analog input resolution of 8 bits. Since this controller is a stepper controller, it supports half-, full-, and microstepping applications.
PCI-Step-2OX Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
