National Instruments PCI-Step-2CX Closed-Loop Stepper Controller
The PCI-Step-2CX is a Closed-Loop Stepper Motion Control Board. The NI PCI-Step-2CX board is created by National Instruments. The PCI-Step-2CX is manufactured for stepper motors with 2 axes. The NI PCI-Step-2CX board can be programmed with ValueMotion software. This board can additionally be installed with LabVIEW, BridgeVIEW, and LabWindows. The PCI-Step-2CX Closed-Loop Stepper Motion Control Board is used with Windows operating systems.
The NI PCI-Step-2CX board is designed for PCs made with a Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) slot. This Closed-Loop Stepper Motion Control Board is designed for closed-loop stepper motors. The PCI-Step-2CX board is built with a few additional input/output options for further functions. The National Instruments PCI-Step-2CX helps with controlling and operating home switches. The PCI-Step-2CX board can also be used for general-purpose functions. This Motion Control Board is capable of being used for position control applications.
The NI PCI-Step-2CX is used for various functions with point-to-point position investigating modes. The PCI-Step-2CX can be used for velocity profiling modes based on motion activities. This Stepper Motion Control Board can be operated in both open as well as closed-loop modes for stepper motors. The PCI-Step-2CX uses a quadrature encoder for the feedback response of position and velocity. The NI PCI-Step-2CX board describes the step or direction of motion in clockwise or anticlockwise for digital output commands. This board is operated with a maximum frequency of 1 MHz for encoding.
PCI-Step-2CX Obsolete Status has been announced by National Instruments, but the controller will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
