National Instruments PCI-8513 CAN Interface Device
The PCI‑8513 (Part Number: 780684-01) comes with 1 port and is a software selectable FD CAN device which has a device simulator called NI CAN. When connecting with NI CAN and the DAQ equipment on a PC, this gives an apparatus to show the concepts of CAN communication, DAQ, and CAN/DAQ management. This instrument simulator comes with an advanced volume creator, a fast CAN line, fast CAN connector, and computerized input switches.
The NI CAN breakout box on the NI PCI-8513 device highlights 14 parallel wired ports for stretching extra CAN gadgets to a NI CAN interface or other CAN arrangement. Seven connectors utilize standard NI CAN D-SUB pinouts for associations with NI CAN links and gadgets. At the same time, there are seven other connectors which are screw-terminal removable connectors for simple associations with exposed wires. The installed control supply applies capacity to the V+ sticks on the bus, which is required for some handsets, and switchable 120 Ω, 60 Ω, or no-end disentangles associations with most CAN gadgets. NI-XNET interfaces highlight installed programming empowered end, which disposes of the requirement for end resistors in CAN or LIN links. NI suggests no-end CAN and LIN links for use with NI-XNET CAN and LIN interfaces. For NI-XNET FlexRay interfaces, utilize 9-stick D-SUB links to associate with ECUs and FlexRay gadgets. The NI CAN to OBD-II link associates a NI fast CAN interface to the standard J1962 indicative connector found in late-show cars for analytic applications.
