For industrial settings, this software-designed controller offers dependability and flexibility through operation on the NI Linux Real-Time OS. The cRIO-9036 offers programmable hardware acceleration for sophisticated algorithms and signal processing thanks to its FPGA, the Xilinx Kintex-7 7K70T. With 240 DSP slices, 41,000 6-input LUTs, and 82,000 flip-flops, it provides more than enough power to develop control schemes and data processing algorithms.
With two tri-speed RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, there are plenty of connectivity options to enable high-speed data transfer. The USB 2.0 compliant two USB host ports and one USB device port provide flexible connectivity for peripherals and data storage. With a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1600 at 60 Hz, the Mini DisplayPort enables a local human-machine interface (HMI) for application development. The cRIO-9036 offers one RS-232 port and one RS-485/422 port for serial communication, supporting a range of data formats, flow control techniques, and baud rates.
These ports increase the controller's interoperability by allowing interfaces with industrial and legacy devices. Up to 32 GB of nonvolatile storage can be supported by an SDHC slot that is compatible with both SD and SDHC standards. For dependable and quick data storage, the controller also comes with a 4 GB solid-state drive.
The cRIO-9036 is appropriate for severe industrial environments since it can operate in an extended temperature range of -40°C to 70°C and has an IP20 ingress protection rating. It can operate in humidity ranges of 10% to 90% RH, guaranteeing dependable performance under a variety of circumstances.
