One Stop Systems OSS-539 PXI Express Network Interface Card
The OSS-539 Ethernet network interface card (Part Number: 787085-01) from One Stop Systems is a high-density solution that integrates into an existing PXI Express or CompactPCI Express system. This 3U form factor module has a bandwidth of 10 Gbps and four SFP+ optical ports, which are driven from a pair of Intel 82599 controllers that provide increased network bandwidth to the mainframe backplane. This module is designed to offer assured high-speed data connectivity in demanding industrial and embedded computer environments where conventional networks are inadequate. The architecture of the module supports a Gen3 x8 PCI Express link, allowing low latency and high throughput in the data-intensive applications typical of PXI Express requirements, making it another essential part of any system expansion and a necessary building block for any external communications needed.
This Ethernet interface card is primarily used to off-load large data files from a PXI Express system into external network storage or servers for near real-time processing and archiving of data.
