This module is the perfect way to interface with many digital applications needing a large quantity of channels for digital I/O, such as memory testing, handshaking, pattern generation, high-speed functional digital tests, and more. This PXI Digital I/O Module offers selectable voltage levels and directional control per computerized line channel.
The maximum clock rate of the PXIe-6535 is 10 MHz. There are selectable voltage levels with 2.5, 3.3, and 5 V TTL logic and exclusively arranged pins for input or output. The device has a digital input voltage range of -1 V to 6 V, and an output voltage range of 0 V to 5 V. With both synchronous and asynchronous timing modes, handshaking, and software API designed around the NI-DAQmx driver, the NI PXIe-6535 module has the adaptability to meet the prerequisites of semiconductor, consumer electronics, and communication applications. The device can be programmed using software packages/application development environments (ADEs) such as LabVIEW or LabWIndows/CVI.
The NI PXIe-6535 highlights an enhanced design, offering higher signal integrity and impedance matching. This PXI Digital I/O Module has several timing modes. The first is pattern I/O or test clock (synchronous), which allows the user to exchange designs utilizing an inside or outer clock signal. The next mode is called burst handshaking (synchronous). This mode enables the module to handshake a NI PXIe 6535 module and the peripheral instrument while a synchronous exchange is occurring to optimize the transfer rate. There is additionally a change detection mode, which can obtain information when a change takes place on at least one digital line. Next, there is the handshaking I/O (offbeat) mode, which has the capability to exchange designs when the PXIe 6535 module and the peripheral instrument are prepared. Lastly, there is an on-demand (unstrobed or static I/O) mode, which can obtain or create information via software-timed orders.
