National Instruments CVS-1454 Compact Vision System

Featured with RS232 and Ethernet Ports, the NI CVS-1454 (Part Number: 778638-01) is a Compact Vision System. This model comes equipped with a high performance processor and supports 3 FireWire Camera Inputs. The CVS 1454 is a flexible and rugged real-time image acquisition, storage, and analysis solution. This model is a viable solution for gauging, alignment, inspection, identification, and various other applications. A robust processor integrated with the 3 integrated FireWire ports enables the CVS-1454 to handle any inspection job.

This compact vision system has 15 digital input lines and 14 digital output lines. Out of its 15 digital input lines, 12 are 24 V isolated lines and the remaining are dedicated TTL lines. Out of the 14 digital output lines, ten are dedicated TTL lines and four are 24 V isolated lines. The FireWire image acquisition allows users to choose the right sensor for their applications. Thus, users can choose either a high-performance or a low-cost, low resolution sensor.

Using its broad range of digital I/O options, the NI CVS-1454 Compact Vision System can easily communicate with numerous automation devices, such as relays, robotics, and PLCs. In addition, the system can send data and commands to other devices through integrated Serial and Ethernet ports. The VGA output port incorporated in this module can be used to provide users with a real-time display of their product under inspection. The inclusion of multiple FireWire ports enables users to connect multiple cameras to perform multidimensional inspection.
