National Instruments cRIO-9033 CompactRIO Controller

The cRIO-9033 is an embedded CompactRIO controller by National Instruments. The part number of the cRIO-9033 is 783452-01. This module is designed for monitoring applications where advanced user control is required. The cRIO-9033 can run the Linux RT operating system. This module also features a user interface capability. This feature allows the user to add an HMI by adding a monitor via the mini DisplayPort. The cRIO-9033 can be interfaced with a host network or computer, and startup options are configurable. The USB device port or Ethernet port is used for this purpose.

The NI cRIO-9033 CompactRIO Controller has a dual-core processor with a clock frequency of 1.33 GHz. For USB connectivity, the controller provides one USB 2.0 device port (480 Mbps) for configuration and console access and two USB 2.0 host ports (480 Mbps) for peripheral devices such as keyboards, storage drives, or cameras. The serial port's maximum baud rate is up to 230,400 bps. The integrated mini DisplayPort supports display resolutions up to 2560 × 1600 at 60 Hz, enabling direct user interface connections.

The cRIO-9033 CompactRIO Controller is used for waveform acquisition, high-speed control, timing and triggering tasks, and Ethernet-based synchronization.
