National Instruments cRIO-9031 CompactRIO Controller

The cRIO-9031 is a 4-slot compact RIO controller. This module is available under part number 783451-01. The cRIO-9031 is a software-designed controller with an onboard FPGA chipset. It supports the Linux RT operating system. All these features help simplify application programming by adding a local HMI. The cRIO-9031 can perform timing and triggering tasks. You can implement flexible triggering, using digital triggers, analog triggers, FPGA-based custom triggers, and software triggers.

The cRIO 9031 CompactRIO Controller features an Intel dual-core processor. The processor is an Intel Atom E3825 with a CPU frequency of 1.33 GHz and 1 MB of L2 cache. The NI cRIO-9031 supports many types of application software, which includes LabVIEW, LabVIEW RT, and the LabVIEW FPGA module. The controller also fully supports NI Linux RT and C/C++ development. The driver software compatible with the cRIO-9031 is the NI-RIO device driver.

The cRIO-9031 CompactRIO Controller incorporates eight different ports. It has two RJ-45 Ethernet ports. The ports are configurable in MAX. These ports are compatible with a CAT-5E shielded Ethernet cable up to 100 m. This model also has an SD card slot. The cRIO-9031 supports up to 32 GB external cards. The cRIO 9031 also features serial communication with RS-232 and RS-485/422 ports available for this purpose. This controller also has a mini-display port. Other ports available in the controller are 2 USB host ports and 1 USB device port.
