National Instruments cFP-AI-102 Analog Voltage Input Module
The cFP-AI-102 (part number 777318-102) is an analog voltage input module for use with the Compact FieldPoint from National Instruments. The module provides six input ranges for voltage signals (0–20, 0–60, 0–120, ±20, ±60, and ±120 V). It also offers an ADC resolution of 12 bits. The cFP-AI-102 implements an overvoltage protection scheme, which allows the module to withstand transient voltage up to 2300 volts for the intermodule communication bus and the I/O channels.
The NI Analog Voltage Input Module comes with the hot plug-and-play option. The rating for isolation voltage has the RMS value of 250 volts. The update rate on all channels is 360 Hz or 2.8 milliseconds. The effective resolution for input voltage ranges from 15 mV to 125 mV. The built-in ADC enables successive approximation capabilities. The module also has physical indicators to depict the operational status of the module.
The NI cFP-AI-102 is a lightweight instrument, weighing 115 grams. It has a high input impedance of one mega-ohm. The analog voltage input module offers an extremely low input noise of 7 mV + 1 LSB peak-to-peak. This module also offers an input signal bandwidth of 170 Hz.
