The cFP-2110 (part number 777317-2110) is a high-performance Compact FieldPoint Controller from National Instruments. This model can be utilized for embedded and distributed I/O applications. Users can perform real-time measurements, analysis, and simulation. The NI cFP-2110 FieldPoint Controller enables user-defined applications, such as data logging, I/O, PIDs, signal processing, and analysis algorithms.
The NI cFP-2110 FieldPoint Controller offers various interfaces and control features on the front panel, which include Ethernet and RS-232 communication ports, LED indicators, DIP switches, a reset switch, and a power connector. The backplane of the instrument offers a mounting capability for a standard 19-inch rack. There are many controlling techniques available with or without a host PC. The NI cFP-2110 FieldPoint Controller also comes with a network watchdog feature to protect the system against network connection failures, cable issues, or host computer problems. This feature is disabled by default.
The National Instruments cFP-2110 FieldPoint LabVIEW Real-Time/Ethernet Network Controller complies with IEEE 802.3 specifications. The instrument incorporates 10BaseT and 100BaseTX Ethernet and offers the communication rates of 10 and 100 Mbps. These rates are auto-negotiable. This model also includes 64 MB of nonvolatile storage memory and 32 MB of DRAM. The lifetime of the memory is 300,000 times per sector.
