The National Instruments CFP-2100 FieldPoint Controller incorporates an Ethernet interface, which enables users to connect the CFP-2100 to an Ethernet network. Users can then fulfill various testing requirements using a separate host PC and check status information, change controller settings, and display measurement results.
The instrument also incorporates various LED indicators on the front panel of the NI CFP-2100. The LED indicators exhibit the various operational states of the device. The instrument package also includes FieldPoint software with NI measurement and automation explorer capabilities.
The National Instruments CFP-2100 FieldPoint LabVIEW Real-Time Controller comes with built-in non-volatile memory with the storage capacity of 64 MB. This model also includes an RS-232 serial port to further enhance the communication capabilities of the NI CFP-2100 Compact FieldPoint Controller. The device has a power supply range of 11 to 30 VDC and a power consumption value of 6.1 W + 1.1 (I/O module power requirements).
The CFP-2100 can be programmed using software packages such as the FieldPoint software (4.1.1 or later), LabVIEW, LabVIEW Real-Time Module, LabWindows/CVI, or Measurement Studio. It can be configured using the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) tool.
The NI device weighs 9.8 oz. It has recommended operating and storage temperature ranges of -25 to 60°C and -40 to 85°C, respectively.
