National Instruments PCI-6703 Analog Output Device
The PCI‑6703 (Part number: 778316-01) is a static 16 Voltage Output Channel Analog Output Device with a 16-bit resolution, that can be utilized for software‑timed voltage output applications. The user can interface a floating or grounded load to the NI PCI-6703 device at the output channel. It is not necessary to bother with an outside floating power supply to finish the controlled current loop. The user can control the current loop from 0.1 to 20.2 mA. The consistence for the present loop is 0 V to 10 VDC. Since every channel shares a ground line with a voltage channel, limit the impact of the arrival current from the current channel on the voltage being yielded on the voltage channel. For instance, if the user yields 20 mA on a channel and restores that channel to the NI PCI-6703 along the mutual ground line in a link with an impedance of 0.1 Ω, the voltage output will drop 2 mV on the voltage channel sharing the ground line.
This Analog Output Device has user-defined power-up states, ±10 V range, 8 digital I/O lines, DC output coupling, and independent, user-defined values for the power-on state. The PCI-6703 can link to numerous signal types, such as LEDs, voltage and current excitation for precision transducers, electromechanical relays, and optically isolated, solid-state relays and I/O module mounting racks. This device can be used with NI-DAQ 7.4 or later, along with .NET Languages without NI Application Software, LabVIEW for Windows, ANSI C without NI Application Software, Measurement Studio, and LabWindows/CVI for Windows. It is equipped with a 68-pin male I/O connector.
The user should take caution not to surpass the maximum ratings for the output or input signals on the Analog Output Device because this can cause harm to the computer or the device. The NI device measures 3.9 x 6.9 in. in physical dimensions. It has a recommended operating temperature range of 0 to 55 °C, a storage temperature range of -20 to 70 °C.
