Agilent E6621-65035 Digital-to-Analog Unit
The Agilent E6621-65035 digital-to-analog unit is a PXIe card assembly designed for high-speed digital to analog signal conversion. The module is also known as SST6.0 DAU within innowireless test platforms. It functions as the conversion interface between digital baseband processing and analog signal output. The unit uses front panel and has built in a PXIe mechanical form factor by allowing installation into compatible PXIe chassis systems. A locking PXIe handle and reinforced front panel provide secure mounting and stable electrical engagement with the PXIe backplane.
The E6621-65035 DAU uses large aluminum heat sink is mounted over the primary processing section of the board. This passive thermal solution supports heat dissipation during sustained high-speed operation. Cooling is completed through forced airflow provided by the PXIe chassis infrastructure. The front panel provides 3 SFP ports labeled SFP 1, SFP 2 and SFP 3. These interfaces support high-speed optical digital data input from the associated digital processing unit. The optical connections ensure reliable signal integrity during continuous data transfer. The E6621-65035 contains SMA connectors as AOUT1, AOUT2, AOUT3 and AOUT4 which are present on the front panel. These connectors deliver high-speed analog output channels generated by the internal DAC circuitry. Each output supports synchronized multi-channel signal operation.
The Digital-to-Analog unit has a SCLK parameter which is provided for synchronization clock input. This clock interface supports precise timing alignment across interconnected system modules. Accurate clocking is essential for maintaining phase-coherent signal generation. The module uses two additional SMA connectors as D I O1 and D I O2 for digital input and output control functionality. The status indicators provide immediate visual feedback regarding operational and activity states. The module incorporates dual high-speed DAC devices mounted beneath the heat sink. The Agilent E6621-65035 Digital-to-Analog Unit comes with PXIe backplane connector which is used to supply regulated power delivery and internal communication pathways. This interface ensures stable operation within supported PXIe chassis configurations.
