Agilent E6621-65034 RF IF Amplifier Module

The Agilent IF module E6621-65034 is a precision intermediate-frequency interface board for controlled IF routing within advanced PXI test architectures. The unit enables structured IF signal distribution through multiple defined ports that support integrated RF subsystems in wireless or mixed-signal test platforms. The module features a dedicated shielding assembly that stabilizes internal circuitry during high-frequency operation. The E6621-65034 incorporates a PXI backplane and latch assembly connector that maintains consistent electrical engagement. 

The amplifier module provides a structured port layout that includes defined IF input and IF output paths. It provides five SMA front-panel connectors, IF IN1/OUT1 for the first IF signal path and IF IN2/OUT2 for the second IF path. All routing and control are managed internally via the PXI backplane interface. The intermediate frequency interface module includes a machined shielding plate that spans a significant portion of the circuit surface. The aluminum plate assists in distributing heat away from active routes within the IF processing section. 

The internal components include precision filtering and stabilizing elements that support power integrity. Two 107D capacitors provide filtering capacity for regulated power rails within the IF routing domain by stabilizing local supply lines that feed the RF conditioning blocks. It additionally includes a compact controller device that manages switching behavior through defined control traces. This device is supported by several decoupling elements that maintain steady voltage across the logic region. 

The PXI backplane connector that ensures reliable communication with the system controller. This connector supports defined PXI power rails and signal lines that coordinate IF path activation. The connector structure is built to handle repeated insertion cycles without deformation. Its latch assembly secures the module and maintains proper contact force with the backplane. 

The E6621-65034 carries a weight of 3.6 kg that equals 8 lbs for easy installation and placement when the board is mounted within multi-slot PXI systems. The Agilent RF IF Module maintains a defined structural layout that supports predictable routing behavior.
