Agilent M9146A PXI RF Switch Module

The Agilent M9146A PXI RF switch module provides a dual 1 x 4 RF multiplexer architecture designed for precise switching performance. The unit supports controlled signal routing across complex RF paths using a calibrated design. It has a high 3 GHz bandwidth which permits accurate switching of broadband signals across instrumentation environments requiring consistent channel behavior. The RF module ensures predictable impedance performance due to its nominal 50 Ohm input design. It employs mechanical relays that achieve a typical relay life of 10 million operations at power levels below 100 mW. Its switching elements deliver a typical insertion loss of 0.8 dB at 3 GHz which supports accurate signal transmission. 

The module maintains 45 dB isolation at 3 GHz which assists controlled separation of adjacent channels during complex routing operations. Its VSWR remains below 1.3:1 to 3 GHz which preserves waveform integrity during broadband switching. It integrates SMB male connectors that support secure attachment of coaxial lines in dense PXI frames. The M9146A radio frequency module fits a single PXI slot which simplifies system integration. Its off channel termination supports controlled impedance behavior that reduces reflection related errors during unused path conditions in automated switching operations. The unit supports maximum input levels of 30 V and 1 A which enables controlled switching of moderate power signals in mixed measurement environments. The maximum RF power rating of 1 W supports stable operation during broadband channel selection. The open close time of 3 ms provides consistent transition behavior which supports accurate timing control in automated sequences.
