Keysight M9018A PXIe Chassis
The Keysight M9018A Chassis provides top-of-the-line features a definitive in versatility, compatibility, and execution. This chassis contains a propelled switch fabric that works up to Gen 2 speeds and can be arranged for ideal execution with most PXIe controllers. The switch fabric is additionally configurable for shared interchanges and some openings can speak with other peripherals without utilizing the system slot PCIe links. The user has the option to combine the PXI M9018A with the M9021A Cable Interface and M9048A Desktop Adapter to accomplish the most noteworthy data transfer capacity framework.
The Keysight M9018A comes equipped with a soft front panel (SFP), which can be utilized to monitor the status of different parameters, such as the temperature, rail voltage monitoring, temperatures, chassis fan speed, chassis data, or alarms for fan speed, rail voltage, and temperature. The SFP has two modes: Hardware Mode and Simulation Mode. In Hardware Mode, the SFP communicates with the frame itself. The SFP will show chassis data and enable the user to set frame parameters, such as temperature limits and voltage cautions. In Simulation Mode, the SFP mimics case activity and does not speak with the frame. Reenactment Mode is helpful to become familiar with the capacities of the SFP and the M9018A PXIe Chassis.
To ensure proper cooling, make sure to avoid blocking any vents or the fan exhaust, and insert filler panels into any empty slots. A gap of at least 2 inches (50mm) around the vent holes on both sides of the chassis help to ensure adequate ventilation. The power supply and fans of the M9018A can be expelled while the chassis is mounted in a rack, enabling the frame to be adjusted while keeping DUT cabling and modules set up.
The environmental characteristics of the M9018A include an operating temperature range of 0ËšC to 55ËšC and an operational altitude of up to 10,000 ft. When not being used, the storage temperature range is –40ËšC to 70ËšC and the altitude goes up to 15,000 ft. With the feet installed, the PXIe chassis measures dimensions of 444.4 mm x 191.8 mm x 466 mm. Without the feet, the device measures dimensions of 444.4 mm x 177.8 mm x 466 mm.
