The Agilent M9010A PXIe Chassis provides a stable mechanical structure that maintains signal reliability across modular test environments. The platform integrates a powerful cooling solution designed to deliver strong airflow with low operational noise. The M9010A features a Gen3 PCIe switch architecture that supports a two link system slot using x8 and x16 configurations. Each hybrid and timing slot receives an independent x8 link that maintains efficient data movement during synchronized acquisitions.
The chassis delivers a maximum system bandwidth of 24 GB/s which supports intensive acquisition workloads. Slot to slot bandwidth reaches 8 GB/s enabling consistent throughput for parallel processing modules. It includes multi chassis power sequencing capability that provides coordinated startup behavior across interconnected systems. The front panel external trigger inputs and outputs support precise synchronization between internal modules and external equipment. The design ensures reliable trigger propagation across timing paths required for measurement routines.
The M9010A chassis unit operates at temperatures up to 55 °C which supports deployment in facilities with elevated ambient conditions. Operating altitude capability extends to 10,000 ft which allows installation in remote or high elevation laboratories. The unit weighs only 14.02 kg or 30.91 lbs without modules and supports manageable transport when reconfiguring test installations. The operating voltage and power ratings support global laboratory requirements with low line input from 100 to 120 V delivering up to 735 W.
The high line input from 220 to 240 V provides up to 1300 W which supports power intensive module sets. The input frequency range of 50 to 60 Hz ensures compatibility with international power infrastructures. Over current protection is provided by an internal fuse that safeguards the chassis and connected modules. The Agilent M9010A PXIe Chassis has a DC output power for peripheral slots reaches 830 W with 220 to 240 V input and 470 W with 100 to 120 V input. Airflow enters from the bottom of each module and exits at the top and rear which maintains consistent thermal gradients. The external 10 MHz reference inputs accept 10 MHz ±100 ppm at 100 mVPP to 5 VPP in sine or square wave formats.
