The N5309A is an Exerciser, Protocol Test Card 2.0, and Compliance Tests module. The N5309A has been manufactured by Agilent/HP/Keysight Technologies but is now classified as discontinued. The N5309A comes from the family of Protocol Analyzers and Exercisers. The Protocol Test Card 2.0 is used as a sub-module of PCI-SIG gold suite for testing measurements for 2nd generation PCIe protocol compliance. The Keysight N5309A can be operated on computers with Windows XP or Windows 7 operating systems.
The N5309A Exerciser, Protocol Test Card 2.0, and Compliance Tests module supports 180 additional compliance tests. The N5309A card works with a USB 2.0 link when connected to the host computers. The Keysight N5309A is featured with exerciser and LTSSM tests. The N5309A Exerciser, Protocol Test Card 2.0, and Compliance Tests module can control packet generation, as well as error injection. The N5309A card supports both 1st and 2nd generation PCI Express cards. The Keysight N5309A is operated on a 47 to 63 Hz frequency range. The N5309A PTC 2.0 card supports SSC.
The Keysight N5309A Exerciser, Protocol Test Card 2.0, and Compliance Tests module has a data memory of 160 kB. The N5309A works with 100 to 240 Vac voltage range. The Keysight N5309A is built with a front bracket connector panel with a USB type B, Vin 18 VDC, and PCIe analysis output. The N5309A comes with a top connector of PCIe x16 with x1 lane connection. The Keysight N5309A card is equipped with bottom connectors of x1, x4, and x16 based on version requirements.
