Keysight M9242A PXIe Oscilloscope

The M9242A PXIe Modular Oscilloscope is manufactured by Agilent/HP/Keysight. The M9242A is a part of the InfiniiVision PXIe Modular Oscilloscope Series by Keysight. This InfiniiVision Series redefined the modular oscilloscopes. It provides the user, fully detailed signal information. Keysight’s technology that has been used in building the oscilloscopes is high performance. The M9242A PXIe Oscilloscope is different from the conventional digitizers that use the software on a CPU to perform many functions; instead, it uses the hardware to perform those functions.

The Keysight M9242A Oscilloscope has 500 MHz bandwidth, 2 channels, 4 Mpts max memory depth, and is a handheld/modular instrument. This PXIe Oscilloscope has AC and DC input coupling and 135 Vrms maximum input voltage.

The Keysight M9242A PXIe Oscilloscope has zone touch triggering that eradicates the complications of setting an advanced trigger. If the user has a display on their controller that is touch enabled, the user can easily trigger events through a simple method. The user would draw a box on the signal they want to isolate by simply using their finger. Keysight has the credit of pioneering the zone touch triggering. This feature helps in easy capturing of difficult to define events of the trigger. The advanced trigger touch helps in analyzing complex signals and makes capturing errors in signals easier than before.  

The core oscilloscope operations are managed by Keysight’s exclusive technology MegaZoom IV ASIC, smart memory. Therefore, the M9242A PXIe Modular Oscilloscope requires minimal support from a CPU (central processing unit). The hardware masks testing ability and serial decoders included by MegaZoom IV smart memory.
