ADLINK PXI-2204 Multi-Function DAQ Card

The ADLINK PXI-2204 DAQ module integrates two 12-bit multiplying analog output channels by supporting static and dynamic waveform generation. These outputs can generate programmable test stimuli or analog reference signals for closed-loop control systems. Each channel supports a driving capacity of 5 mA and maintains stability up to 1500 pico-farads. The PXI-2204 features 24 channel TTL digital input and output for precise control and monitoring. Its digital channel operates at standard logic levels and supports synchronous operation with analog signals. Two 16-bit general purpose counter/timer channels handle frequency measurement and event counting tasks. This integration allows the card to perform coordinated operations within a single compact module.

Trigger modes such as post-trigger, delay-trigger and repeated trigger provide flexibility for different test sequences. The PXI-2204 DAQ card supports both analog and digital triggering for precise timing control during data acquisition. The onboard FIFO buffer of 1Ksa per channel ensures uninterrupted data streaming. Its fata transfer options include programmed I/O and scatter-gather DMA for efficient bus utilization. This minimizes host CPU overhead and allows constant high-speed data throughput under continuous load. The ADLINK PXI-2204 uses Driver and SDK support which is available for Windows and Linux operating systems. The module includes a gain error of ±0.06% for the full-scale range (FSR). Its modular architecture provides precise synchronization with other measurement modules across the test platform. The module carries a lightweight configuration of only 5 lbs (2.26 kg) for easy handling in space-limited setups.
